Hi! This is what I looked like when I posed for my friend Matt who drew my pictures for this website. See my cute nose and my sharp claws? I think I was having a bad earhair day, but I was happy sitting in the sun in the fork of my favourite tree. I'm a night animal and do most of my eating and walking from tree to tree after you're in bed. When you're awake, I'm usually sleeping in my tree thinking of the juicy gum leaves I'll eat when I wake up. The word koala is an aboriginal word meaning I don't drink water. I get my liquid refreshment from the leaves I eat. |
